Know Before You Go
THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS BUT WE WANTED TO GIVE YOU A HEADS UP.
The safety of our friends and neighbors who attend our Spring Palooza is our primary concern and we are working very closely with the Elk Grove Police Department, the City of Elk Grove and Cosumnes CSD towards that goal.
Yes, we want you to have a wonderful time, but we want you to be able to enjoy yourself without concerns about safety.

ENTERING THE PARK
The Elk Grove Spring Palooza will be fenced to allow use of the remainder of the park for other purposes and to provide for safety and security for you and your families.
The entry fee will be $5 per person except that kids under 12 and students with their School ID Card will get in for free. Kids over 12 who do not have a School ID Card will be charged $2 for admission.
There will only be 2 public entrances into the event in 2026: Those will be identified here when we have our fencing plan.
Just like going to the River Cats or a Kings game these days, Security will be checking all bags at these locations. See Clear Bag Policy below.
CLEAR BAG POLICY
The Elk Grove Spring Palooza will enforce a Clear Bag Policy to reduce security screening interactions and expedite entry to the event.
Guests can carry in blankets and jackets as long as they are readily available for screening at entry.
Guests can bring in parental bags as long as they are readily available for screening at entry.
Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection and screening.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
The palooza is held in the outdoors where it is mostly asphalt and grass or compact dirt walkways. There are ;ots of natural shade trees , but hats & sun screen are recommended if you have a sensitivity to the sun. You may bring a blanket or lawn chair for seating.
Prepare for lots of eating, shopping and walking!
For your comfort, we highly recommend that you: Wear comfortable shoes. You will be walking on asphalt, dirt, and grass. There may be some uneven ground, particularly in the overflow parking lots.
-
Dress in layers. Mornings can be cool; afternoons are usually sunny and warm to hot temperatures when the sun goes done it can get cold.
-
Bring sun protection. We have lots of sunshine in Elk Grove so bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
-
Bring a chair or blanket to sit on as our main stage is open seating on the lawn
-
Shirt and shoes are required at all times.
CAN I BRING MY PET?
We’re sorry, but no pets are allowed in the palooza, with the exception of service dogs. The Cosumnes CSD parks & recreation rules prohibit dogs and other animals from being brought into the palooza grounds for this event (except service dogs), and California Law prohibits dogs and other animals from being left in vehicles. There are no kennel facilities available at the palooza.
IS THERE PARKING?
We should have plenty of regular and overflow parking available. If you do park in the local neighborhood, please be mindful that you don’t block driveways. Unhappy homeowners are likely to have your car towed if it blocks their driveway.
IS THERE BICYCLE PARKING?
Secure bicycle parking is available at the rack located at the right side of Main Stage. Please be sure to bring your own lock.
DO YOU HAVE HANDICAPPED OR DISABLED ACCESS?
Yes, the Elk Grove Spring Palooza does offer accommodations for disabled guests.
However, there are some things to keep in mind:
- There is a paved parking lot for attendees displaying a valid handicapped plate or placard. Follow the signs to handicapped parking. These are limited be advised. Please have your placard displayed at all times.
- From the handicapped parking lot, guests will have easy access to a designated festival entrance.
- Please note: that the Palooza is held within Elk Grove Regional Park. There is some uneven ground in the park. The grounds are mostly asphalt, compact dirt, and grass.
- Be aware that electrical cords may be taped down for power to some venues, so be careful to not trip over them.
IS THERE SEATING AT THE FESTIVAL?
An important question. There are a variety of options for seating in some venues, but if you want a great seat for the music at the Main stage, you will want to bring a blanket or lawn chair and sit under the trees on the grass area. Come enjoy the music and food.
DO WE TAKE CASH?
Bring on the treasure! We’re all about convenience, so while we’re happy to accept good old-fashioned cash, we’re giving the nod to modern convenience with card payments. It’s like using a compass instead of a map—quicker and easier to navigate!
